*** New features:
Thanks to your feedback, we're continually working on Hiringboss to make it more responsive, flexible and focused on helping HR to make faster filling the open vacancies and with better candidates with the product update. Tomorrow, I am pleased to announce an upcoming release of HiringBoss. It take will take effect at the end of the day tomorrow so here's a brief look of the updates:
1. Add Candidate custom fields in Candidate Dashboard view under Customize Columns
With this new feature, HiringBoss supports the recruiters to view more information of candidates filled from the Application Form. We have added new additional fields under the Candidate Dashboard Customizable Columns where you can select Education Fields and Custom Fields. By selecting the desired columns, you can compare your candidates based on the fields that matters to you in a table format. Now even your Line Manager could review this list and make a shortlisting decision quickly without having to ask them to view each candidate's individual records.
This customization view will be visible in Candidate Dashboard (selectable from the hamburger menu on the top left) from Resumes Received to Offers chevrons.
Once the Education Fields or Custom fields are added, you can also adjust the columns around based on your preference.
Known Limitation: Table Filter can only search the core fields and not the custom fields. But you can use 1 column filter to filter the custom fields value.
2. Add number of applied jobs in Candidate Profile and Short Summary of the Candidate.
The recruiter now can view the number of applied jobs for any specific candidate from Candidate profile or Short Summary of the candidate profile page. This pop-up window will show the number of applied jobs, job title, job location, department, applied date for each job and current stage of this candidate in that job in historical context.
Now you can see the number jobs which the candidate applied for within job dashboard, candidate dashboard, advanced search, job page.
3. Add historical update logs on Candidate Profile
We have also revamped the Logging feature with this release. In other words, any type of manual field value updates that is done by you as the recruiter/HR or by Agency User, or by Candidates on the Candidate Profile, are going to be tracked on the Historical logs. Each of the modification timeline would be shown and searchable. So you don't have to worry who made what change on the Candidate Profile as you can always review who change what from what and when on the the candidate profile i.e. candidate personal information, education information, work history, candidate custom fields.
HiringBoss can now be used for your hiring System of Records where all information would be tracked and accounted for. On the Historical Logs, you can also perform a search using the Table filter to make it easy to audit certain information that gets changed overtime.
Known Limitation: In this version, we only support for text fields, select fields, date fields but not for multi-line text i.e. Personal statement, Education, Description, Experiences.
4. Add links to job profile page on Candidate Dashboard (Jobs and Hires chevrons)
From the Candidate Dashboard, if you go to Jobs or Hires chevron, you can click on the number of each job to go to the corresponding stage of this job in the job profile. This way you can go quickly to the Job View perspective under the corresponding Chevron and see the historical job applicants on the particular job.
The table list will give the list of available jobs and each jobs would contain number of the Job Applications received where you can click and view each of the listing of applicants. This way it will save number of clicks to find out the historical applicants in the particular job in a particular chevron.
5. Consolidate the table framework among chevrons
We have updated the table framework for the Candidate Dashboard with this release. So once you change the column orders or add custom columns in one chevron, it will be applied and synchronous with all other chevrons (Resumes Received, Resumes Accepted, 1st Interview, 2nd+ Interview, Offers). This should remove the tedious task to set the column view to look similar on each of the Chevrons.
*** Improvements and bug fixes:
1. Improve the usability when selecting time frame in Data Export
If you select From and To, Time frame filter will not be applied. If you select Time frame, From and To will be reset to blank. This would give you more intuitive feeling so you won't get confused how the data is being extracted.
2. Add new columns for Position data export
We have added new columns on the Position Data export which are:
- Number of candidate sources: to show how many candidate sources on which the jobs are shared
- Candidate source history: [candidate_source] ([source_id], [Insert_timestamp]) to show details of shared/posted candidate sources
3. We have removed the word Candidates and Employees from the Job Dashboard view of the Candidates. This way you can read the candidates names easier.
